Southern Empire Protection, LLC is looking for a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team.

We currently have coverage available 2–3 days per week, averaging 22–35 hours. Additional hours may be available for dependable team members who want to pick up extra shifts.

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety of personnel and property.
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing first aid or CPR as necessary preferred.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches.
• Document incidents and prepare reports as required for law enforcement or management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively.

Requirements

• Valid security certificate or relevant training preferred.
• Experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and surveillance systems, including CCTV operations.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
