Summary:
This position is responsible for performing quality assurance reviews and uniformity testing on industrial Furnace performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Read technical drawings, reports, and work instructions.
- Conduct uniformity testing on industrial Furnace.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting.
- Perform gas, water, and air troubleshooting.
- Perform Program Logic Control (PLC), operator interface, communication, and frequency drive programming and debugging.
- Perform quality assurance review of assembled industrial Furnace.
- Enter and manipulate data on computer using MS Office software.
- Develop working relationships with other departments to address and resolve issues.
- Participate in cross functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing, design, and quality problems, and to ensure the continuous improvement of processes and methods.
- Occasionally travel to customer sites to install and start up industrial Furnace and oven systems.
- Comply with all housekeeping procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Complete special projects, as assigned

Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or an accredited apprenticeship program, or the equivalent training/experience in an electrical/electronic technical field.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical specifications and blueprints. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of the Company.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to read tape measures, and do basic math, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office experience required, Excel experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Desired: Electrical training certificate, especially working with high voltage power.
Other Qualifications: Knowledge of temperature control system, start up, and debugging processes, experience with Program Logic Controls (PLC), operator interface, communications, and frequency programming and debugging processes.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.
