We are looking for a Procurement & Warehouse Manager who can oversee purchasing, inventory, and warehouse operations with a strong focus on efficiency, cost control, and reliability.

Position Summary

The Procurement & Warehouse Manager is responsible for sourcing materials, managing vendors, organizing inventory, and ensuring that project teams receive the right materials at the right time. This role blends strategic procurement with hands-on warehouse oversight and is ideal for someone who thrives in a small business environment where they can make a major impact.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement

• Manage purchasing for materials, equipment, tools, and subcontractor services.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to support project budgets.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply and competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers and estimating teams to forecast needs and plan buyouts.
• Track market pricing, availability, and lead times to mitigate supply risks.

Warehouse & Inventory

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, and staging materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and implement systems to minimize shrinkage and wasted time.
• Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and consumables for efficient access and turnover.
• Coordinate deliveries, jobsite shipments, and internal logistics to keep crews moving.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and compliant with company standards.
• Assistance with yard and building maintenance.

Process & Systems

• Establish and improve procurement and warehouse workflows that reduce bottlenecks.
• Implement inventory tracking methods (software, barcoding, cycle counts, etc.).
• Provide regular reporting on inventory, purchasing, and vendor performance.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, warehouse management, or supply chain.
• Experience in construction, communication infrastructure, utilities, or related industries preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a small business where collaboration and adaptability are essential.
• Knowledge of procurement or ERP systems (e.g., Procore, Sage, NetSuite, or similar) is a plus.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
• OSHA 10 certification in 90 days or less. We will assist if you do not already have one.
• Must work well with others and be able to handle stress while communicating effectively with department managers and sales.
• Utilize CE software "Will Train" to issue PO's and update with receipt of materials
• Mitigate project material submittals
• Assistance with fleet management
