We are seeking a Construction Manager to join our team in Reno, NV.
Your roleReporting to the Project Director, the Construction Manager will act as the senior Contractor's representative on site:
- Manage and supervise the construction management team assigned to the Project.
- Responsible for overall construction activities and the global execution of the works in respect of cost, schedule, quality and HSSE objectives.
- In conjunction with the HSSE Manager, the Construction Manager is responsible for leading, managing, assisting and monitoring the Trade Contractors to provide a safe environment for all personnel during the construction phase.
- Ensuring that provisions have been made for resources and training necessary to carry out the project HSSE program and that the policies and procedures are communicated and applied throughout the project site organization.
- Support the pre-operational verification activities to ensure that the facilities can be commissioned on time and within budget.
- Preferably a Professional Engineer
- 10-15 year's experience in Construction Management, either as a Contractor or an Owner's Representative
- Experience in large scale design-build transit projects
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment involved in the construction of heavy civil / structural works
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting contract requirements, including contractor/client negotiations
- Proficiency in issuing clear written instructions
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and requirements,
- Knowledge of quality control processes
- Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems including inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects

Additional informationExpected compensation range is between $195,800 - $244,800 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
