Server/Waiter

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch hospitality. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver excellent service will contribute significantly to our restaurant's success.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
• Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately while following cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; experience with Aloha POS is highly regarded.
• Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest service.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $17.02 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
