Learn2Lose | Learn2Renew is an award-winning medical practice (Voted Charlotte's Best Weight Loss Center 2023, 2024, & 2025) specializing in medical weight loss, bioidentical hormone therapy (BHRT), facial aesthetics, and sexual wellness.

We're seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a part-time role focused on medical weight loss, with opportunities to expand into aesthetics and BHRT based on your experience and interest.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Recommend treatment plan options during the initial consultation
  • Provide medical weight loss services, including educating, prescribing, lab reviews, and progress monitoring
  • Educate and guide patients through customized weight loss programs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to engaging educational social media content

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted NP or PA license in North Carolina
  • Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient communication
  • Comfortable managing obesity/metabolic medicine patients (or eager to learn within structured protocols)
  • Active DEA registration
  • Comfortable prescribing GLP-1 class medications and other anti-obesity pharmacotherapy (including appetite suppressants) when clinically appropriate
  • Eligible to obtain NC Board of Pharmacy dispensing license

About You

  • Master's degree (or higher) in nursing or physician assistant studies
  • Experience in primary care, functional medicine, or aesthetics is a plus
  • Comfortable on camera and with social media content creation
  • Confident practicing independently while building long-term relationships and growing your own panel of patients
  • You understand how hormonal changes can impact weight, energy, appetite, body composition, and long-term metabolic health—and you enjoy educating patients on these connections

Work Schedule

  • Location: Matthews, NC
  • Schedule: Approximately 15–22 hours per week over 3–4 consecutive days
