Part-Time Direct Support Professional

Alliance Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals for in-home health care to serve the IDD community. This is a rewarding position where you can help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve their goals

We are looking for a DSP in the Winston area to work with an young adult client for up to 25 hours per week. Scheduling is very flexible. This client is looking for someone to assist with ADL reminders, medication managment, and community engagement. They are interested in video games, computers, and going for walks.

Schedule: 25 hours per week.

Must have a reliable vehicle and auto insurance.

What You'll Do:

• Engage in Fun Activities: Enjoy arts & crafts, sports, and other enjoyable activities while helping customers pursue their dreams.
• Support Daily Living Needs: Assist with personal care, toileting needs, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, housekeeping, and budgeting.
• Follow Care Plans: Provide updates on customers' progress toward their desired outcomes.

Position Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Working cell phone
• Experience in caregiving or IDD support
• Current first aid & CPR certification (reimbursement available)
• Pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR/DMV Report) and criminal background check

• 3-5 hour shifts

• Weekends as needed

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
