Job Summary

Adira Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Saginaw, Michigan. As an SLP at Adira, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients, promoting their communication and swallowing abilities, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients' communication and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals
• Provide speech, language, and swallowing therapy to patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient settings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress
• Participate in staff education and training programs to stay current with best practices and evidence-based research
• Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for making a positive impact on patients' lives

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology (MA or MS) from an accredited institution
• Current certification in speech language pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for certification
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Part-time and full-time positions available
