Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will manage a full caseload of personal injury cases from intake through settlement and manage a pre-litigation team.
As a Pre-Litigation Attorney you will ensure that our clients get the best outcome by working to avoid time-consuming litigation.
Responsibilities
- Manage caseload of personal injury matters from intake through potential settlement with the support of case managers, assistants, and specialized departments
- Supervise a team of pre-litigation staff, including case managers, assistants, demand writers, and settlement and lien negotiators
- Monitor team's work product and files for quality assurance purposes on a daily basis
- Drive case progression, ensure that deadlines are met, and adhere to firm financial goals and ethical and legal standards
- Draft and review demand letters, settlement proposals, and other legal documents
- Conduct case reviews for strengths and weaknesses and case strategy
- Conduct legal research and analysis as needed
- Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case status and treatment
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing
- 1+ year(s) of experience in a similar role at a Personal Injury Firm
- Demonstrated experience leading a team in a supervisory capacity
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent legal drafting skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and other parties involved in personal injury cases
- Ability to manage an independent caseload and produce high value settlement
- Bilingual preferred

Pay
Salary between $100,000 to $250,000 based on experience + Commission/Bonus Pay
