Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods through inventory management, order fulfillment, and heavy equipment operation. Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control by accurately tracking stock levels using RF scanners and warehouse management systems such as AS400.
- Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, and materials handling.
- Assist with order picking and order fulfillment processes using various tools like order pickers and mechanical devices to ensure timely shipping & receiving.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, packing products, and preparing shipments with attention to quality and safety standards.
- Conduct load & unload operations for incoming raw materials or finished goods while adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse layout, improve inventory accuracy, and streamline shipping & receiving workflows.
- Maintain detailed records of all warehouse activities including inventory movements, shipping logs, and incident reports.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques and warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools required for materials handling.
- Experience in warehouse distribution processes such as stocking, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for safe warehouse operations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order fulfillment tasks.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or construction environments is a plus; familiarity with RF scanners and inventory control systems is highly desirable. Pay: $ $21.00 per hour
