Bartender/Server

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a lively environment, with experience in food and beverage service, including fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves crafting beverages, managing POS systems, and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests. Candidates should possess strong time management skills, familiarity with various POS platforms such as Aloha and Micros, and a solid understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service. Previous experience in the food industry, retail math, or hospitality is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring excellent customer service
• Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining attention to detail
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, and utensils throughout shifts
• Assist in catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions as needed
• Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at shift end
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to serve diverse clientele including those in fine dining or nightlife settings
• Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and responsible alcohol service standards
• Experience with beverage preparation including brewing or specialty cocktails is advantageous
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods using excellent organizational skills
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math applications, and accurate order processing
