Mission:
Supports the operational activities including CAPEX/non-CAPEX projects. Focusing on the overall facilities efficiency, reliability, and profitability. Provides needed coaching, mentoring, and direction for maintenance mechanics. Provides technical support for Maintenance and Operations teams. Ensures compliance, while ensuring a safe working facility.

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Technical Associates or Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field, preferred. Preferred education can be substituted for some required experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of Maintenance Experience in a Manufacturing environment. Experience working in Food Manufacturing, highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience, supervising and leading Maintenance teams.
Skills/Knowledge/Ability:
- Ability to lead and train Manufacturing Technical Teams.
- Ability to set expectations, drive accountability while maintaining a positive departmental culture.
- Ability to support and execute CAPEX improvement projects with technical support/assistance.
- Ability to educate, troubleshoot, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Ability to ensure a focus on cost control, quality, and food safety.
- Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally, across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze problems and involve key stakeholders to develop effective maintenance metrics that drive proactive maintenance.
- Ability to generate and execute effective corrective action plans that address the root cause of manufacturing concerns i.e., cost, yield, throughput, and unplanned downtime.
- Ability to contribute to corporate goals and objectives.
- Ability to implement strategies to drive continuous improvement in the facility.
- Ability to utilize technical documentation for asset management.
- Must be able to support Plant Operations on holidays, weekends, evenings, etc.
Authority:
This position supervises several Maintenance employees throughout the facilities.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, climb, or balance, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds which should be done in tandem with assistance.
Work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles. This position will travel from various facilities where the outside weather conditions can be very cold and wet and very hot and humid. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must have the ability to travel between facilities. Must have the ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90, $110,000.00 per year
