Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate in Washington, D.C.! This versatile role is fundamental to our daily logistics operations, encompassing a range of tasks from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within our facility. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Participate in inventory control processes, including cycle counts.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and the use of PPE.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
