We are seeking a motivated Picker/Packer to join our bustling Cincinnati, Ohio warehouse team. In this role, you will be integral to our logistics process, ensuring accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include selecting items from inventory, verifying order accuracy, and preparing them for shipment. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong focus on detail and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders from warehouse shelves using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order specifications.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping, minimizing damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all logistics safety standards.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with stock replenishment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Follow all company policies, including mandatory PPE usage.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
