We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate for our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania location. In this role, you will contribute to the efficient operation of our distribution center by performing various warehouse duties. This includes receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders with accuracy, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining a safe and orderly workspace. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the logistics industry and grow with a reputable company. Safety is paramount in our operations, and all associates are required to strictly follow all safety protocols and use the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The position involves regular physical activity, including significant Lifting, so candidates should be in good physical condition. We value hard work, dedication, and a team-oriented approach.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming merchandise.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and containers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Participate in regular inventory checks.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and prolonged standing.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
