We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for retrieving items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Your keen eye for detail will help minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. This position involves a significant amount of physical activity, including repetitive bending, reaching, and grasping. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and a strong commitment to workplace safety. You will work closely with inventory management to ensure stock accuracy and report any discrepancies. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within a fast-paced warehouse environment. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, have a strong work ethic, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience with RF scanners is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders based on pick lists or scanner instructions.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Previous picking or packing experience preferred, but not required.
