Job Summary:
Are you a skilled and experienced Warehouse Technician looking for a challenging opportunity in Des Moines, Iowa? We are hiring! In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency and integrity of our warehouse systems and equipment. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring the overall safety and functionality of the warehouse. This position is key to our logistics infrastructure, supporting the seamless movement of goods. You will work closely with the warehouse team and management to uphold our high standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and racking systems.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of the warehouse environment.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly tagged and maintained according to schedule.
  • Assist with inventory accuracy and organization.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Support logistics operations by ensuring equipment availability.
  • Perform duties that may involve moderate lifting, up to 45 lbs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a warehouse technician or in a similar maintenance role.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems relevant to warehouse equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must possess good physical condition, with the ability to lift and maneuver items.
