We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate for our facility in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will play a critical part in our supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring that inventory is managed effectively and orders are processed accurately. Your duties will include receiving and inspecting incoming goods, stocking merchandise, picking and packing customer orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. This position requires physical stamina, as you will be involved in significant lifting (up to 50 pounds), standing, walking, and bending throughout your shift. A commitment to workplace safety is essential; you must adhere to all company policies and utilize the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment. We value efficiency and accuracy, so attention to detail is highly prized. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player, capable of working independently and collaboratively to meet operational goals. Experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial, and familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, unpack, and verify incoming inventory.
- Organize and stock products in designated warehouse locations.
- Fulfill customer orders by picking and packing items efficiently.
- Prepare products for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Comply with all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
