We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team at our state-of-the-art distribution center in Sacramento, California. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping. Your leadership will ensure efficiency, accuracy, and the highest standards of safety for our team. You will be responsible for managing staff, scheduling work, monitoring performance, and implementing process improvements to optimize our logistics flow. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems and best practices. A primary focus will be on fostering a culture of safety, ensuring all employees are trained on and adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. This position demands the ability to perform lifting of materials up to 50 lbs, and the operation of various warehouse equipment. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct daily warehouse activities.
- Manage and motivate a team of warehouse associates.
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of all inbound and outbound goods.
- Oversee inventory management and cycle counting processes.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, including PPE usage.
- Train staff on warehouse operations, safety, and equipment usage.
- Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform lifting of materials up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Collaborate with management to achieve logistics goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in WMS and other warehouse management software.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and PPE compliance.
