We are looking for an energetic and accurate Order Picker to join our team at our Boise, Idaho facility. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is vital to our logistics chain, ensuring that customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing an order picking system to locate and gather items. Precision and speed are key to success in this position. A strong commitment to workplace safety is essential; you must adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times. This role involves significant physical activity, including walking, bending, and the ability to perform lifting of items up to 40 lbs on a frequent basis. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items according to order lists or system prompts.
- Verify picked items against order details.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Perform lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Operate hand trucks or pallet jacks as needed.
- Report any inventory discrepancies to supervision.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment efficiency.
- Understand and follow all logistics procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capable of performing lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Commitment to safety and proper PPE usage.
