We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is essential for the efficient functioning of our warehouse and the successful execution of our logistics operations. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving and putting away stock, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Your diligence and commitment to accuracy will ensure the smooth flow of goods through our facility. This is a physically active position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Safety is a paramount concern; adherence to all safety regulations and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is strictly enforced. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage outgoing shipments for carriers.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock checks.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Operate manual equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Report any operational inefficiencies or safety hazards to management.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse processes.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual.
