Join our fast-paced fulfillment center in Boston, Massachusetts, as a Fulfillment Associate. This role is critical to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving and stocking inventory. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential. We prioritize a safe working environment, so strict adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of PPE is mandatory. This position involves considerable physical activity, including regular lifting , standing, walking, and bending. Understanding the flow of goods within a fulfillment operation and basic logistics is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanners and pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and documentation.
- Receive incoming inventory, verify counts, and stock items in designated locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Utilize required PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet fulfillment goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support our logistics efforts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to workplace safety .
