Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Move, sort, and stack materials within the warehouse.
- Receive and unload incoming materials, verifying quantities and condition.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas, such as production lines or shipping docks.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Ensure all materials are properly stored and labeled.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Utilize required PPE at all times.
- Support overall warehouse operations and logistics as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of logistics and inventory control is a plus.
