Our Indianapolis, Indiana facility is seeking a diligent Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. This position is critical to the smooth operation of our distribution center, involving a range of responsibilities from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all warehouse activities, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, possess strong organizational skills, and are committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Prior experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous, and a strong understanding of logistics and safety protocols is essential. This is a great chance to build a career in the logistics field.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and manage inventory placement.
- Accurately pick customer orders using scanning equipment.
- Pack orders with appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch and load trucks.
- Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical capability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with warehouse equipment and technology is a plus.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to adhering to all Safety regulations and wearing the necessary PPE .
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
