Are you an experienced and certified Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in San Jose, California? We are seeking a skilled individual to join our logistics team and operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials within the warehouse, and ensuring that inventory is stored in designated areas. Safety is our top priority, and adherence to all operating procedures and guidelines is mandatory. You will be expected to perform routine checks on your forklift to ensure it is in good working condition and report any issues immediately. This role requires significant attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. The ability to handle Lifting of various materials is also important. We provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and expect all team members to wear it diligently. Experience with different types of forklifts, such as sit-down, stand-up, or reach trucks, is highly preferred. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move and stack materials.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Transport goods from receiving to storage areas.
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Follow all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
