Join our dynamic team as a Distribution Center Associate in Omaha, Nebraska! We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to support the efficient operation of our state-of-the-art distribution facility. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, contributing directly to our customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the warehouse environment, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure accuracy in all processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, possess a strong work ethic, and be committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Stock inventory accurately into designated locations within the warehouse.
- Pick customer orders with speed and precision using scanning technology.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load and unload trailers as needed, following proper lifting techniques.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve departmental goals.
This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Successful candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
