À propos

We are a long-established group of self-catering holiday-letting agencies, managing a large portfolio of premium holiday homes across the UK. Our brands include Aspects Holidays, Boutique Retreats, Classic Cottages, Grandeur Property, Island Escapes, and Unique Hideaways.
Technology underpins how we scale and evolve our business. We’re looking for an experienced .NET Software Developer with a strong interest in modern development practices to join our in-house team and play a key role in delivering a new, next-generation platform.
*About the role*
You’ll be joining a product-focused, purpose-driven team working on our next-generation property management and short-term-let sales platform - a greenfield project with a clear roadmap and strong organisational backing.
The platform is being designed to scale and optimise workflows across our agencies, while delivering an excellent experience for both staff and customers. We work with an agile mindset of delivering early, iterating often, and continuously improving based on real-world use.
Automation and intelligent integration, including the use of AI where it adds genuine value, are central to our approach, helping eliminate low-value tasks and unlock better insight across the business.
From a technical perspective, we’re building on a modern Microsoft Azure foundation, with an API-driven architecture and a Blazor SPA using a vertical-slice approach to support rapid, well-structured feature delivery. Continued investment in developer experience is a priority, ensuring the team can deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal friction and overhead.
While this is not a senior or lead role, it does offer meaningful scope to contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the future direction of our technical landscape. You’ll be involved across the full software development lifecycle - from discovery and specification through to design, development, testing, and deployment.
*What we’re looking for*
We’re looking for a developer with a solid foundation in .NET development who enjoys working on complex, real-world systems and contributing to well-considered technical solutions. We value practical experience, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset over rigid career paths.
*Key strengths for this role include:*
* Around 3+ years’ commercial experience working with .NET
* Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and .NET ORMs (such as Entity Framework)
* Confidence working with source control in a team environment
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, builds, and deployment
* The ability to work independently while contributing thoughtfully to shared technical decisions
*Technologies we use*
You don’t need experience with everything listed below. We’re more interested in strong fundamentals and the ability to learn. Support and training are available to help you build confidence in unfamiliar areas.
*Application & Web*
* .NET (including .NET Aspire)
* Blazor
* HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* App Telemetry and Observability
*Cloud & Platform*
* Containerised applications
* Microsoft Azure
* Azure DevOps
*Learning & development*
Training and skills development are an integral part of how we work. You’ll have access to online learning platforms, in-person training opportunities, and the freedom to develop your skills directly within the project by exploring new tools and technologies where they add value.
*Working with us*
You’ll be based in our modern, purpose-designed office in Hayle, built to support collaboration and focused work, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week. We’re proud to support and grow local tech talent in Cornwall and are therefore looking for candidates already within commuting distance of our office.
A generous package is on offer for the right candidate with benefits including a performance related bonus, 33 days holiday, an extra day off for your birthday and access to our employee assistance program.
