Our rapidly expanding logistics operation in Indianapolis, Indiana, is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist. This critical role focuses on maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including cycle counting, stocktaking, reconciliation, and discrepancy investigation. You will play a key part in minimizing stock adjustments, preventing shortages, and ensuring that our inventory records are up-to-date and precise. This position requires a meticulous approach to detail and a strong understanding of inventory control principles. You will utilize our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movements, generate reports, and identify trends. A deep understanding of warehouse logistics and supply chain operations is essential. The ability to analyze data, identify root causes of inventory discrepancies, and implement corrective actions is highly valued. Safety is a top priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected at all times.
