Join our Phoenix, Arizona logistics hub as a Material Handler! In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the movement and organization of materials throughout our warehouse. You will operate various types of warehouse equipment to ensure efficient and safe handling of goods, supporting our picking, packing, and shipping operations. A strong focus on safety and operational efficiency is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Stage materials for order fulfillment and production.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure proper working order.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including strict adherence to safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required.
- Valid forklift certification or demonstrated experience operating forklifts is essential.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including knowledge of material handling best practices and PPE usage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet operational demands.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
