Are you looking for a dynamic role in warehouse operations? We are hiring Order Pickers to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida! This position is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. As an Order Picker, you will navigate our warehouse to locate and retrieve specified items using RF scanners and pick lists. Precision and efficiency are key as you contribute to the smooth flow of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for verifying product information, ensuring the correct quantity is picked, and preparing items for the packing station. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong focus on safety and teamwork is expected. - Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations using RF scanners.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities against order requirements.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
- Safely operate picking equipment and perform routine checks.
- Transport picked items to the packing and staging areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and guidelines.
- Use required PPE, such as safety vests and footwear, at all times.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must wear appropriate PPE provided by the company.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, if required.
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a successful logistics operation.
