The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, physically capable, and experienced in handling various types of materials. You will be expected to maintain your equipment, adhere to strict safety protocols, and work collaboratively with other warehouse personnel. We provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety while performing your duties, which will include significant lifting and maneuvering of materials. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and production lines.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the warehouse.
- Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of material handling equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or demonstrated experience.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of heavy materials.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems is a plus.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
