This position requires the ability to perform tasks involving significant lifting, typically up to 50 lbs. You will contribute to the smooth flow of goods through our distribution center, playing a key part in our overall logistics success. Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve specific products from warehouse shelves.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
- Use handheld scanners and other technology to track inventory movement.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of picking areas.
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures and use provided PPE.
- Meet established picking speed and accuracy targets.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Participate in team efforts to optimize warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven ability to work in a physically demanding role with frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Experience with warehouse equipment and inventory systems is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
- Team player mentality and good interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse safety protocols.
