We have an exciting opportunity for an Order Picker in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be a vital part of our warehouse team, responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your efficiency and precision in picking items are key to our operational success and customer satisfaction. You will work within our established Logistics framework, utilizing scanning technology and following strict protocols. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all Safety guidelines is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Verify item numbers, descriptions, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Use RF scanners and other technology to locate and track inventory.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment safely.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets.
- Handle all merchandise with care to prevent damage.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Must be able to handle the physical demands of Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is required.
