Responsibilities:
- Select products from storage locations based on order requirements.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order slips.
- Pack products using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
- Follow all warehouse safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Understand and follow logistics procedures for efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Experience in a warehouse, order picking, or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Capacity to lift and move items up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all PPE requirements.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills.
