Seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and assisting with the management of stock levels within our warehouse. This role is crucial for the efficiency of our overall logistics operations, ensuring that we have the right products in the right place at the right time. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a methodical approach, and a commitment to accuracy. Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse management is highly desirable. We maintain a strong focus on Safety; therefore, strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the use of appropriate PPE, is mandatory. This position may involve some Lifting of inventory items. You will be expected to work collaboratively to achieve inventory accuracy goals and contribute to a well-organized and efficient warehouse environment. - Performing regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Updating inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Assisting with the receiving and put-away process.
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting low stock items.
- Maintaining a clean and organized stockroom.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Utilizing PPE as required for specific tasks.
