Our Madison, Wisconsin facility is hiring Warehouse Workers to support our extensive distribution network. In this role, you will be involved in various warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. You will contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse by ensuring efficient handling of materials and timely processing of shipments. Our commitment to safety is paramount; therefore, strict adherence to all safety guidelines and the mandatory use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is expected. This role demands physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve considerable Lifting and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Sort, organize, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts.
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not required; we provide training.
- Must be capable of regular Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Awareness of and adherence to safety protocols.
