We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the distribution center. Maintaining a safe and efficient work environment is paramount. You will play a key part in our logistics flow, ensuring that goods are transported correctly and without damage. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification and a proven track record of safe operation. You will be expected to inspect equipment before use, perform routine maintenance checks, and adhere strictly to all safety guidelines. This position demands reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work collaboratively with other warehouse staff. Responsibilities include:
- Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up) to move pallets and materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Transport goods to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated storage locations.
- Perform pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
