Maintenance Supervisor

Schedule: 1st Shift - 6:00 AM start time

Position Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the maintenance team and ensuring all machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership and coordination to minimize downtime, ensure safety, and support efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.

• Oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance schedules for machinery, equipment, and facilities.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment logs.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

• Collaborate with production and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime.

• Monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; coordinate replenishment with purchasing.

• Train and mentor maintenance staff to improve technical skills and workplace safety.

• Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and effectively.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• OSHA or safety certification.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial facilities.
