Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth across various channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in automotive or retail sales, and a proven track record in managing high-end sales environments. This role requires strategic planning, excellent communication, and the ability to develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Multilingual abilities and dealership experience are highly desirable to effectively serve diverse customer bases and expand market reach.
Duties
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand customer base and increase sales volume.
- Oversee B2B sales initiatives, including negotiations, deal closing, and relationship management with key clients.
- Manage the entire sales pipeline from prospecting through closing, ensuring consistent lead generation through cold calling, outbound sales, and marketing efforts.
- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, monitor sales performance, and forecast future sales opportunities.
- Conduct regular training sessions on sales techniques, product knowledge, negotiation skills, and customer service excellence.
- Oversee inventory management, inventory control, and retail math to optimize stock levels and maximize profitability.
- Engage in public speaking engagements and community events to promote brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
- Support upselling strategies to enhance revenue per customer while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to phone etiquette, communication standards, and professional presentation in all client interactions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns that align with sales objectives.
Experience
- Proven success in outside sales, B2B sales, or high-end automotive or retail environments.
- Extensive experience in sales management with a demonstrated ability to lead teams toward achieving aggressive targets.
- Strong negotiation skills with a history of closing complex deals in dealership or similar settings.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities preferred for serving diverse markets effectively.
- Proficiency with CRM software and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Experience in public speaking, marketing strategies, retail math, and organizational skills essential for success in this role.
