A well established Canadian manufacturer specializing in architectural metal systems, structural components, and custom-engineered building solutions. For decades, the organization has supported major commercial, industrial, educational, and public infrastructure projects across North America.
With fully integrated design, engineering, and production capabilities, the company is known for delivering durable, visually striking, and highly customized metal solutions used in large facilities, big box retail environments, campuses, stadiums, and large-scale developments.
The team operates with a strong focus on innovation, craftsmanship, and long-term client partnerships. As they expand further into the U.S. market, they are seeking a driven sales professional to help accelerate growth and build strategic relationships across key sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a growth strategy for U.S. expansion, with a focus on Michigan and surrounding states.
- Identify and engage new business opportunities across facilities management, commercial construction, education, stadiums, and large-scale housing projects.
- Leverage existing industry contacts and relationships with decision-makers at large facilities and big box retailers.
- Conduct outreach through calls, site visits, and virtual meetings to promote architectural metal and building system solutions.
- Collaborate with internal design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate proposals and timely project delivery.
- Prepare bids, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and track progress through CRM tools.
- Represent the company at trade shows, architectural events, and client meetings as needed.
- Support export and logistics coordination for U.S.-bound projects.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in construction, facilities management, or architectural materials.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with large commercial clients, developers, and contractors.
- Existing book of business or network in Michigan or the broader U.S. Midwest region preferred.
- Experience selling into commercial, educational, retail, or public infrastructure sectors
- Familiarity with landscaping, exterior/interior architecture, or building envelope materials is an asset.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work remotely and independently.
- Willingness to travel across Michigan and occasionally to Canada for internal meetings.
Compensation & Benefits
- Commissions:3–5% commission on gross profit

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
