About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead QA Engineer to join our remote team, based out of Denver, CO. In this role, you will be a pivotal figure in ensuring the quality and reliability of our desktop applications and SaaS platforms. Your expertise will drive the automation of testing processes, oversee the development of comprehensive test pipelines, and lead a team of talented QA engineers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate high-level workflows into technical use cases, plan and forecast deliverables, and ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality software products. Your leadership will be instrumental in adopting best automation practices in a fast-paced, agile environment, ultimately enhancing customer experience and product extensibility. Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent degree
  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation
  • Proven expertise in implementing end-to-end automated test pipelines for SaaS platforms
  • Hands-on experience with API testing, desktop application testing, modern UI frameworks, and mobile app testing
  • Knowledge of authentication systems such as OAuth 2.0
  • Experience with cloud deployments and containerization technologies
  • Proficiency in programming languages including C#, JavaScript, SQL/NoSQL
  • Deep understanding of web technologies, testing processes, and modern testing tools
  • Experience in balancing trade-offs between cost, scale, speed, and agility in certification processes

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to adopt and implement automation best practices
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for desktop, web, and mobile applications
  • Build and optimize end-to-end testing pipelines utilizing industry-standard tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert workflows into technical, quantifiable use cases
  • Forecast project timelines, plan deliverables, and ensure timely completion of testing objectives
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks and challenges within testing processes to maintain high quality standards
  • Critically evaluate testing frameworks and design strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage and validation for microservices and reactive web platforms in cloud environments
  • Maintain a focus on customer experience, scalability, and extensibility throughout the testing lifecycle
