Engineering Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Engineering Supervisor to lead and oversee our maintenance and engineering operations within a manufacturing or industrial facility. Duties

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing clear direction, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and engagement.
• Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage equipment—and mechanical components across the facility.
• Manage maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to optimize equipment uptime and reduce downtime.
• Develop, review, and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate accurate diagnostics and repairs.
• Coordinate industrial maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize disruptions while maintaining safety standards.
• Supervise installation, inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems, facilities infrastructure, and manufacturing equipment.
• Lead projects related to facilities management, equipment upgrades, or process improvements with effective project management practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to electrical work (including high voltage), mechanical systems, and general plant safety regulations.
• Monitor equipment performance metrics; analyze data from CMMS reports; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety incidents for audit purposes.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience supervising maintenance or engineering teams within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience—familiarity with low voltage systems, high voltage safety procedures, schematics interpretation, and use of tools like ohmmeters is essential.
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial automation systems, and schematics reading.
• Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and maintenance planning.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, facilities management practices, and industrial maintenance standards.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in English—both verbal and written—to effectively collaborate across teams and document technical information clearly.
• Supervising experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is highly desirable.
