Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans.
  • Perform framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and finishing work with precision and attention to detail.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
  • Install fixtures such as cabinetry, doors, siding, roofing components, moldings, and hardware in accordance with specifications.
  • Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, and metal stud framing as needed for various projects.
  • Assist with roofing installation or repair using appropriate techniques for different materials.
  • Read and follow schematics for electrical wiring, plumbing systems, or HVAC components when applicable.
  • Support remodeling efforts by flooring installation, tile laying, cabinet hanging, fixture installation, and general carpentry repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high safety standards.

Skills

  • Strong background in trim carpentry, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, and drywall finishing.
  • Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), CNC machines, and fabrication equipment.
  • Extensive construction site experience across residential or commercial projects.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics (including electrical and plumbing), and technical drawings accurately.
  • Skilled in concrete forming techniques and masonry work including bricklaying or stonework.
  • Familiarity with roofing systems—shingles, metal roofing—and siding installation methods.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physically fit for demanding tasks on-site.
  • Understanding of construction safety protocols including OSHA standards.
  • Experience with fixture installation—doors, windows (including door hanging), cabinetry—and general maintenance person skills.
  • Knowledge of remodeling processes including flooring installation (tile or hardwood) and electrical experience for minor wiring tasks. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $31.04 per hour
