Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Assist in menu planning and daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction
• Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with food handling regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
• Support food presentation and plating to meet quality standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
• Adhere to food safety protocols and sanitation procedures at all times
• Assist with catering orders and special event meal preparations as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or food service environment
• Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Familiarity with menu planning, food safety standards, and food handling procedures
• Experience working in fine dining or high-volume kitchens is preferred
• Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in dish quality
• Prior experience in catering or serving is advantageous but not required
