Cody Dental Group is an established family dental practice that has been serving the Denver community for over 75 years We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant or EDDA to join our team full-time Monday-Thursday, with 1 Friday per month to be determined. Our ideal Dental Assistant will be reliable, self-motivated and passionate about providing the highest level of patient care. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, 1 Friday per month (to be determined, 8am-12pm)

Compensation: $22-$28/hr, plus daily bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Taking necessary x-rays
• Fabricating temporary crowns and taking impressions
• Assisting during endodontic treatments
• Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
• Restocking treatment areas and maintaining inventory
• Infection Control
• Preparing treatment plans and updating patient charts in Denticon
• Setting up and breaking down operatories
• Scheduling patients for treatment
• Maintaining OSHA standards

Skills:

• Excellent communication, both written and verbal
• Teamwork
• Denticon knowledge is a plus but is not required
• Attention to detail
• Reliable and goal-oriented
• Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
• Experience with 4 handed dentistry

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a dental assistant
• X-ray certification
• CPR Certification
• Certified Dental Assistant preferred
