The on-site IT Support Specialist will be a primary point of contact for all internal technology support. The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing timely and effective technical assistance to all on-premises and remote employees, ensuring they can maintain high productivity. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and configuring end-user equipment in a Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365/Azure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
End-User & Help Desk Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical issues, handling Tier 1 help desk escalations via tickets, phone, or in person
- Provide timely support to all staff, including answering user questions and resetting passwords
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems related to Windows PCs, laptops, printers, copiers, scanners, mobile phones, and telephony systems
- Support audio and video equipment in conference rooms
- Follow up on outstanding requests to ensure timely resolution within established SLAs
Onboarding & Asset Management
- Create network, email (Microsoft 365), and multi-factor authentication accounts for new hires
- Configure and deploy new computers, printers, and other IT equipment
- Create physical access ID cards based on role requirements
- Manage and monitor IT assets to maintain accurate inventory records
- Maintain adequate levels of IT supplies, such as cables and adapters
