Senior Mobile Developer

We are looking for someone who is

• A senior full-stack engineer, with a strong emphasis on mobile application development.
• Very experienced in delivering Enterprise Software (SaaS, IaaS, etc.).
• An effective communicator and interpolator, able to take ambiguous, high-level requirements, rough sketches, or even pictures and transform them into clearly defined, shippable software.
• Able to provide examples of scalable, performant code in both mobile and back-end contexts.
• Committed to code quality, ownership, and accountability.
• Passionate about the mobile ecosystem and interested in learning new technologies, standards, and techniques.
• Self-disciplined, able to work and communicate effectively in a fully remote environment.
• Excited about solving hard problems and building new skills and knowledge every day.
• Able to commit to feature delivery (not just code delivery).

On the mobile/client-side, we're looking for someone with an expert understanding of

• Expert working knowledge of React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
• Deep experience building and deploying cross-platform applications (iOS/Android) using the modern JavaScript mobile ecosystem.
• A strong foundation in Native Android development principles, particularly in debugging platform-specific issues, performance profiling, and integrating native modules when necessary.
• Experience with mobile application deployment processes (App Store and Google Play).
• Solid understanding of client-side architecture patterns and state management in large-scale mobile applications.

On the server-side, we need someone with

• Deep knowledge of API design principles and best practices (REST, GraphQL, HTTP).
• Experience with and comprehension of PAAS, IAAS, and SAAS solutions.
• Successful outcomes addressing scalability challenges and performance of server-side code.
• Designing and developing horizontally scalable, resilient, and performing-under-load systems.
• Extensive experience working with multi-hybrid heterogeneous data
• The confidence and knowledge to effectively identify and communicate technical risks cross-team and implement performance improvement and security hardening of web applications and infrastructure.
• Experience working in a service-oriented or microservice architecture.
