Your mission

Build a best-in-class financial foundation that facilitates rapid scaling

Your one-year outcomes

• Successful first financial audit with a clean opinion and no material weaknesses
• Month-end close time reduced from 10 business days to 5
• Accounting tech stack (ERP, AP, AR, tax, spend management) is fully upgraded
• ASC 606 revenue recognition is implemented for B2B contracts
• Key workflows (e.g., expense reporting, AP approvals, SBC recognition, etc) are fully automated

What you will do

• Lead CoinTracker through its first financial audit process
• Own the closing and reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Assess and upgrade our existing financial systems and processes
• Hire and manage a world-class Accounting team

• Track record of preparing a company for its first external audit — including documentation, policies, and controls
• Proven ability to handle complex revenue recognition under ASC 606 (subscription, implementation, support, consulting)
• Ability to scale an Accounting org while supporting rapid growth, with an emphasis on an automation-first mindset
• 8+ years of total relevant experience

The starting salary for this position is between $180,000 - $220,000 USD. Candidate's location does not impact the posted salary range. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of job-related factors including relevant skills, education, and experience. This position also includes equity in CoinTracker and benefits like medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO.
