À propos

We are a busy Equine-specific veterinary practice that offers both ambulatory and outpatient appointments, as well as full hospitalization and referral surgery. We strive to maintain a positive culture and work/life balance is important to us. We provide quality, compassionate care to all our equine patients and value our team and our clients.

Columbia River Veterinary Specialists of Vancouver, WA is seeking full-time (or part-time) Licensed Veterinary Technician(s) to grow our Emergency Care team for day and overnight shifts. Here at CRVS we take great pride in providing a friendly, supportive, and enjoyable work environment while the challenges of emergency veterinary medicine allow employees to sharpen their skills.

Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) provide patient care for medical and surgical patients at CRVS. They are responsible for working in all areas of the hospital, including but not limited to all aspects of patient care, anesthetic induction and monitoring and providing leadership in the hospital. The LVT is expected to be a leader in the hospital and assist the DVM in organizing patient flow, monitoring treatments, and acting as the Charge Nurse in their respective areas when appropriate.

At CRVS, we experience high volumes of critical/emergent patients - these patients have owners that are under a great deal of emotional stress. It is important to have skills necessary to not only handle critical or aggressive patients, but also communicate effectively and kindly with owners.
