Estimator

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring effective project management. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in construction estimating software, and the ability to negotiate contracts effectively.

Duties

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, utilizing tools such as Hearth, Angi , constructconnect and the blue book
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive estimates.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather data for estimating purposes.
• Manage project timelines and ensure that estimates align with budgetary constraints.
• Negotiate contracts with potential clients
• must be able to drive to each estimate in your own car gas card will be provided
• Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid proposals and presenting estimates to clients.

Skills

• Proficiency in construction estimating software
• Strong understanding of fence installation principles and practices
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Solid knowledge of cost control measures within construction projects.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and understanding technical specifications.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in estimates.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
